It is with much long-awaited anticipation and excitement that I reveal to you: Riva.
I produced, co-wrote, and starred in this short. Shot and edited in just 7 days, Riva has won 15 awards from 26 nominations since its premiere at the 168 Film Festival in Los Angeles.
Riva was based on Mark 5:34:
"And he said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'"
I had such an amazing week in Florida filming a short with this amazing crew.
Riva won Best Faith-Based Short at this year's Burbank International Film Festival.
I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to create this impactful film. It is an honor to share it with others!
I felt it "news" worthy to announce that on April 23, 2016 I married the love of my life and best friend, Clay. I couldn't be happier for the journey and all that lies ahead.
This short film that was my first starring role and first experience producing has finally been released for viewing. I hope you will enjoy "Harper Abbott."
Riva is featured on the 168 Film Festival home page!
